Our Story

Travel has always been a passion of mine. I used to meticulously plan every detail of my trips: mapping out destinations, researching transportation options, compiling lists of top-rated eateries, and curating experiences to fit my budget. I wanted to know which hotspots were overrated, which hidden gems were looked over, and this careful preparation never failed to create extraordinary adventures.

As life got busier, however, I found myself doing less and less groundwork. Time became a luxury, and the sheer volume of content available made spontaneous travel more appealing. Yet, even when I arrived at a new city with no set plan, I still found myself trawling through Yelp, Google Reviews, Foursquare, Reddit, and Pinterest, seeking guidance amongst a sea of information rather than fully immersing myself in the experience. It was overwhelming, and it detracted from the joy of exploration.

Then it occurred to me - when friends visited my city, they benefitted from my local insights, my personal recommendations, my 'insider knowledge'. It was the same when I visited them. This sharing of personal experiences enriched our travels immeasurably. Wouldn't it be fantastic, I thought, if there was a platform that allowed this sharing of local knowledge on a wider scale?

And so, Ajorni was born. A place where insider knowledge meets wanderlust, where personalized itineraries replace impersonal reviews, and where the beauty of travel is restored. Welcome to Ajorni - let's explore the world together.
